Fashion Tips to Prepare for the Masters

There are few things in life I enjoy…marijuana, Nintendo 64, grilled cheese sandwiches, and the Masters. I love golf. More importantly, I love the fashion-fest that is the Masters. There are many events that require proper attire be worn, but none of those are as near and dear to me as the Masters.  From stylish shorts to the coolest shades, here is my guide to what I’ll be wearing to this year’s Masters Tournament.

Chubbies Shorts

There is something about the way Chubbies hold me that makes them the perfect short! I love a good pair of Chubbies and they are all the rage in Augusta. In fact, it wouldn’t be the Masters without them. It is supposed to by sunny…and you know what they say, “Sky’s out, thighs out!”

Check out my favorite style from the classic collection.

Woodies Sunglasses

Sunglasses are fashionable and they protect your eyes. And let’s face it, you can’t really watch the big game if you can’t see what’s going on. If you want style, and you are not looking to break the bank, Woodies has a large selection of wooden sunglasses. I have several pair that I own and wear, but I’ll be sporting stylish wooden wayfarers when I go to the Masters.

In my old age, I’ve had dozens of brands of sunglasses, but none of them are as good as these.

K-Swiss Men’s HyperCourt Express Tennis Sneaker Shoe

At my age, you have to mix sensible with stylish when it comes to footwear. I like to follow a lot of the players around at the Masters–not in a weird way. But I do spend a lot of time on my feet. Because of this, it is paramount that I have shoes that are supportive. However, this doesn’t mean that I can’t been stylish when I’m strutting around the green.

They have MANY colors, but I usually stick to white. Although, I’ve been known to buy green. The cool thing…you can just order these from Amazon and they show up at your door!

Lacoste Polo

Most people don’t know that Lacoste has been around since the 1930s. They are a cool brand, and I love their products. More importantly, they are fashionable and they keep you cool when you are watching the Masters. I highly recommend this polo whether it is for everyday wear or if you are outside at an all-day event.

Having the Right Attire for the Masters

If you are going to be at the Masters all day–or for several days in a row–it is important that you have the right attire to keep you comfortable on the green. From keeping the sun out of your eyes, to making sure that your feet don’t get too tired, the right attire can make all the difference in the world and keep you stylish for when the paparazzi show up–which they ALWAYS do.
